“I bought this Samsung UN55D8000 TV back in November 2011 and no issue until now. Good image, nice colors, many apps… maybe to many. The remote is not quite easy to use and sometimes annoying because some buttons are not were you expecting to find them. 3D is different if you see it from a blue-ray or TV self 3D (of course better on blue-ray) and do not expect to see a perfect 3D image using 2D-3D function.
The UN55D8000, thin, easy to set up, works great with Samsung blue-ray player and 5.1 system. For unknown reasons, I was not able to take out audio from TV to home theater system (it’s true I did not paid ti much time searching why) “
